We hold our celebration Assembly on Friday morning and parents are invited to join in the celebration with their child.

We recognise any outside school achievements such as swimming,
karate, ballet etc. The pupils bring in their certificate and it
is shown to everyone.

Throughout the week any pupil can be awarded a Headteacher's award. They go to the Headteacher and collect a sticker and explain why they are so deserving of this praise. During the celebration assembly anyone who has been awarded a Head Teacher award is recognised and applauded.
Star of the week is where one person is chosen from each class by their teacher. It is not necessarily awarded for their work. It can be awarded for any outstanding behaviour, attitudes or participation. The awardee is given a certificate to take home and their information is recorded in the Star of the Week book.

We also celebrate the children's birthdays. Whoever's birthday occurs during the week gets a birthday sticker during this assembly and everyone sings the birthday song.
The Head Teacher Competition has a different subject each week. Teachers choose the best work in the relevant subject and their work is displayed in the hall. The pupils are applauded and are later allowed to choose something from the prize box.
