Times of the Day  

Morning session: 8.55am - 12.00 noon for Years 1, 2,

8-55am - 12.05 for Years 3 and 4

8.55 a.m. - 11.50 a.m. for Reception

 

Afternoon session: 1.10pm - 3.30pm for Years 3 & 4

1.30pm - 3.30pm for Years 1 & 2 1.20pm - 3.20pm for Reception

 

Registration and Assembly 20 minutes daily

Playtimes 30 minutes each day for all years.

 

  

Dropping off and Picking Up arrangements...

Children should arrive at school after 8.45am.

Gates are opened at 8.45am and shut again at 9.00am.

The site is secure whilst the children are in school.

Mornings 

In the morning the children play in the playground until the whistle is sounded

You are welcome to wait with them.

End of the Day

Parents please wait at the side of the playground and to keep young children with you

KS1 children are brought to the playground by their class teachers

Children will only be released to the person collecting him/her

Children who travel on the school bus meet in the school hall and are then escorted to the bus

Change of normal arrangements

Please let us know in writing of any change to normal picking up/dropping off arrangements

Please telephone us if you will be delayed - your child will stay in reception

 

Absence

We have to record absences please letting us know reasons for absence

Applications for leave must be made using the applicaton for leave form

Holidays in term time are strongly discouraged, it impacts negatively on your child's progress

If your child is ill, please telephone us before 9.30am

We need reasons for absence in writing on your childs return to school

Unexplained absences are investigated by an Education Welfare Officer.

 

Our attendance target for 2008-9 is 95.6%

95.6% attandance is 8 days absence in 1 year
